Hepatic Reactions in Anaphylaxis
[摘要] Glycogen, therefore, disappears almost quantitatively from the canine liver during the first fifteen minutes of anaphylactic shock. This observation is in line with the initial hyperglycaemia in guinea-pig anaphylaxis recently reported by Zunz and La Barre (4). A reduction in liver glycogen during peptone poisoning was observed by McGuigan and Ross (5). The factors contributing to this rapid glycogen disappearance will be considered in a subsequent paper.
