Antibody in Lymphocytes from Hyperimmunized Rabbits

[摘要] Rabbits hyperimmunized with a polyvalent pneumococcal vaccine were bled before and during immunization.The blood from each bleeding day was pooled and the white blood cells from approximately 100 ml of blood were isolated and extracted.Extracts corresponding to between 0.040 and 0.100 ml of lymphocytes were analyzed for antibody protein employing a quantitative immunochemical technique.No significant amount of antibody protein was found in these volumes in spite of significant amounts of antibody in the same volume of plasma.
