Model Systems for the Study of Drug Hypersensitivity

[摘要] Normal rabbit serum is acetylated by aspirin under in vitro conditions, which are similar to physiologic conditions. The extent of acetylation is determined by immunochemical tests. The acetylated serum proteins are shown to be potent antigens in rabbits. It is also shown that aspiryl proteins are partially acetylated. The relation of these results to human aspirin intolerance is discussed.
