Canine Immunoglobulins

[摘要] Canine colostrum was examined for its content of immunoglobulins, in particular IgA and 7Sγ1, which were isolated. The IgA immunoglobulin was characterized to a limited extent. 7Sγ1 is present in significant amounts in colostrum and is distinctly different from the IgA in colostrum and serum. Whereas 7Sγ1 previously was thought to be a separate immunoglobulin class, it now appears to be related to the IgG class through heavy chain determinants and may be an IgG subclass.
