Additional Variants of the Rh Type Demonstrable with a Special Human Anti-Rh Serum

[摘要] A serum is described from the mother of an erythoblastotic baby, which in addition to the usual anti-Rh agglutinins contains a special agglutinin of high titer which agglutinated only about ⅓ of all bloods. The agglutinin in question proved to be a special type of anti-Rh agglutinin reacting with about ¾ of Rh2 bloods and only about ¼ of Rh1 bloods. The special agglutinogen detected by the serum is apparently inherited as a simple Mendelian dominant, presumably due to the action of a special allelic gene.
