Genic Control of Species-Specific Antigens of Serum
[摘要] Qualitative differences in serum antigens specific for Senegal were observed in the serums of backcross birds resulting from matings to Ring dove of species- and backcross-hybrids from the cross of Senegal/Ring dove. These antigens have been found to segregate within the backcross families in accordance with genetic expectation. There is evidence that the genes which control the serum antigens are on different chromosomes from those that control the Senegal specific corpuscular antigens. These findings are similar to those resulting from studies of other species crosses.
