The Electron Microscopy of Fowl Pox Virus Within the Chorioallantoic Membrane

[摘要] Electron micrographs have been made of sections through chorioallantoic membranes of chicken embryos infected with fowl pox. These show the vacuolation and granulation that are aspects of the degeneration of the proliferated epithelium. Clumps of virus particles are seen both at the surface and deep within this diseased epithelium.
