Anti (Streptococcal) Desoxyribonuclease. Occurrence in the Sera of Patients Treated with Streptococcal Concentrates Containing Streptodornase

[摘要] 1. 1. Methods are described for assay of streptodornase and its specific antibody, antistreptodornase.2. 2. Untreated subjects had a range of antistreptodornase titer from zero to 100 units per ml of serum; a titer of 500 units or more was considered elevated.3. 3. An elevated titer was demonstrated in sera of patients nine days to one month after therapeutic administration of streptodornase; it persisted for one to three months.4. 4. Titers were not altered by heating sera at 56 C for 30 minutes.5. 5. Specificity was confirmed by failure of antistreptodornase to inhibit pancreatic desoxyribonuclease.
