Q Fever in California

[摘要] Coxiella burneti , the causal rickettsia of Q fever, has been recovered from dustladen air on a dairy in Southern California, and from dust-laden air on a sheep ranch in Northern California.The signficance of these recoveries of the organism from a contaminated environment is discussed.
