The Purification of Adenovirus Neutralizing Antibody: Adenovirus Type 5 Hexon Immunoadsorbent

[摘要] Preparation of an immunoadsorbent of crystalline hexon of adenovirus type 5 bound to Sepharose is described. The immunoadsorbent was employed to purify antibody to adenovirus type 5 hexon from antiserum prepared against a mixture of the three capsid antigens. In addition, separation of antibody with type-specific neutralizing activity from group-specific non-neutralizing hexon antibody has been achieved.
