Induction of Temporary IgA Deficiency in Mice Injected with Heterologous Anti-Immunoglobulin Heavy Chain Antisera

[摘要] Complete temporary suppression of IgA in both serum and the lumen of the gut has been achieved by injecting either anti-µ or anti-α antiserum into neonatal BALB/c mice. A model suggesting possible mechanisms of suppression and eventual recovery is discussed.
