Measurement of Antibody Release from Single Cells. II

[摘要] A method for determining the relative amounts of antibody released from single cells in a population is presented. The procedure is based on estimating the minimal amount of antibody molecules required to give complete lysis in a given plaque volume. The results show that the average cellular rate from five populations studied was 360 molecules/cell/sec. The value is regarded as a minimum estimate of the average rate.
