Myasthenia Gravis: Cross-Striational Fluorescence of Muscle Fibers Mediated by Fc Fragments
[摘要] The antiglobulin consumption test was performed by using human skeletal muscle tissue incubated with Fc fragments of γG globulins prepared from normal human serum. An increased consumption was found indicating binding of the Fc fragments to the tissue. The indirect immunofluorescence test was employed for localization of the binding. A cross-striational staining was found. The intensity was weaker, but the pattern otherwise indistinguishable from that observed when using a positive myasthenia gravis serum.
