Recombination of Genes Coding for Constant and Variable Regions of Immunoglobulin Heavy Chains

[摘要] In one member of a rabbit family evidence has been obtained for a cross-over for genes coding from group a and group d rabbit heavy chain allotypic markers. Subsequent breeding of the animal in which the recombination occurred showed persistence of this new linkage. This observation is most readily interpreted in terms of a multi-gene system coding for the immunoglobulin heavy chain.
