The Immunologic Specificity and Biologic Activity of Heterologous Anti-Human Sera
[摘要] Cultured human fibroblasts obtained from normal donors were used to produce heteroantisera in rabbits. The resulting antisera contained high titers of cytotoxic antibodies against three major categories of cell surface antigens: 1) species-specific antigens present on all human tissues tested; 2) species-specific antigens shared by man and subhuman primates; 3) fibroblast-specific antigens. In addition, rabbit antisera against human fibroblasts contained non-cytotoxic precipitating antibodies against soluble antigen(s) present in fibroblasts, lymphocytes and in the α1-glycoprotein fraction of normal human serum.
