The Immunochemistry of Blood Group O

[摘要] Substances with marked blood group activity have been isolated from hog and human stomach linings, and from human pseudomucinous ovarian cyst fluids. On injection of these preparations into chickens, antibody was produced capable of agglutinating human red cells and precipitating with purified blood group substances. One antiserum obtained by immunization with human O substance derived from a pseudomucinous ovarian cyst appeared to have the characteristics of a true anti-O serum.
