Some Immunologic Properties of Papain Digest Fragments of Multiple Myeloma Proteins

[摘要] Papain digestion products of myeloma serum proteins which are in the size range of Bence-Jones proteins have been separated and their immunologic properties studied. These fractions, although antigenically discrete, possess some of the specific antigenic structures of the parent molecule. They likewise possess antigenic similarities to both homologous and heterologous Bence-Jones protein and to heterologous myeloma serum proteins.
