Transient Appearance of “Autoimmune” Antibodies During Prophylactic Immunization

[摘要] A transient positive “autoimmune complement fixation” reaction has been found in the sera of two out of seven girls undergoing a routine schedule of prophylactic immunization.Various explanations are considered. It is thought that the phenomenon might be explained in terms of the temporary proliferation of one of the “forbidden clones” postulated by Burnet.
