[摘要] A specific dose of a strain of S. enteritidis injected intraperitoneally into members of an inbred strain of rats over a four-year period produced a mortality of 93.5 per cent.The slight discrepancy from the reaction of an ideal control stock could not be explained on the basis of seasonal effects, environmental changes, or by any measurable physical differences in the animals.
