The Survival of Neurotropic Yellow Fever Virus in Testicular Tissues

[摘要] 1. 1. Neurotropic yellow fever virus of the French strain and of mouse origin has been transferred through nine passages in the testicular tissues of albino mice.2. 2. Virus isolated from the sixth and seventh passages respectively in the testes of mice has been demonstrated to give a specific immunological reaction as yellow fever virus in passive immunity tests.3. 3. Testicular virus of mouse origin when injected subcutaneously into a Macacus rhesus monkey resulted in the immunization of the animal, with the development of only a retarded and mild febrile reaction.
