[摘要] 1. 1. Through mild peptic digestion, staphylococcal toxin can be completely detoxified.2. 2. This detoxified toxin possesses a marked antigenic property for animals and for human beings.3. 3. Under the conditions described, the digested toxin exhibited no detectable capacity for combining with specific antitoxin.4. 4. Digested staphylococcal toxoid seems to have less ability to produce reactions in the human being when compared with a formalinized toxoid of equal or less potency.
