Random Mating and Blood Groups

[摘要] A criterion on internal consistency of blood groups is here presented for application to large bodies of data in the study of blood groups from an anthropological standpoint. The failure of data to meet this criterion is to be interpreted as evidence either of selective mating with regard to blood groups or of errors in the technique of grouping and indicates that the data is unsuitable for the application of the technique of Snyder for calculating p, q , and r , the absolute frequencies of the triple allelomorph gens among the population.
