Agar Precipitation Reactions between Human Serum Albumin and Hemoglobin in Human Tissue Extracts

[摘要] 1. 1. Normal human and animal sera gave agar precipitation reaction with certain human tissue extracts.2. 2. The serum component reacting with the human tissue extracts had an electrophoretic mobility corresponding to albumin.3. 3. The constituent in the human tissue extracts which interacted with albumin had an electrophoretic mobility corresponding to that of an α-2 globulin and appeared to be hemoglobin or a hemoglobin product.4. 4. The precipitate formed was soluble in hemoglobin excess and the density of the precipitate was dependent upon the albumin concentration.5. 5. The agar precipitation reactions were not demonstrable by other serologic techniques.6. 6. A cautious interpretation of immunologic reactions in an agar medium was advised.
