Effect of Heterologous Antibody on Tolerance to Bovine γ-Globulin in CBA Mice

[摘要] Experiments to determine the effect of heterologous specific antibody on an established bovine γ-globulin (BGG)-tolerant state and on the induction of tolerance to BGG in CBA mice were performed. The results indicate that passively administered antibody was not able to terminate a tolerant state. The results further indicate that passive antibody interferes with the establishment of tolerance and that this interference was dependent on the dose of antibody. Possible explanations for the observed results and suggestions for experiments to test these explanations were made.
