Localization and Quantitation of Transplantation Antibodies

[摘要] Serum of animals sensitized with intrafamilial xenografts can passively transfer transplantation immunity. The IgG of this serum specifically fixed in renal xenografts in amounts 6 to 12 times greater than in the normal recipient's kidneys. Fixation was independent of serum protein precipitins, hemagglutinating and organ specific antibodies. Autoradiographic analysis showed that the IgG was fixed primarily in the walls of the small blood vessels. The technique that was used was proved to be a sensitive and specific means of detecting tissue fixation of transplantation antibodies.
