NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

[摘要] The Betty Bacharach Home, in association with the pediatric, medical, and psychiatric departments of the Jefferson Medical Center, has organized a unit for the treatment of intractable asthma in children. Children with perennial asthma of more than 1 year's duration and who are refractory to hyposensitization and other forms of medical treatment are eligible for admission.The Betty Bacharach Home is ideally suited for this project. The asthmatic unit is a separate entity. Environmental control is excellent and all facilities, including schooling, are available within the institution.
