CERULOPLASMIN ACTIVITY IN THE SERUM OF CHILDREN WITH SCHIZOPHRENIA

[摘要] The ceruloplasmin (monoamine oxidase) activity was measured in time serums of 45 children with schizophrenia, using the technique of Abood. No difference from normal children was found.It was further shown that ascorbic acid, over a wide range of concentrations, has no influence on the measured values of monoamine oxidase activity, in the technique employed.
