MASSIVE HYDROPS OF THE GALLBLADDER PRODUCING PYLORIC OBSTRUCTION IN A SEVEN YEAR OLD BOY

[摘要] A case of massive hydrops of the gallbladder producing pyloric obstruction in a seven year old boy is presented. Jaundice was not present initially but occurred as a transitory postoperative complication attributed to cholangitis and hepatitis. The merits of cholecystectomy as compared with cholecystostomy in such cases have been briefly discussed.
