THE IXTH INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF PAEDIATRICS—SUCCESSFUL AND SIGNIFICANT

[摘要] THE Canadians deserve unstinted praise for careful organization and superb conduct of an inspiring survey of the present status and future trends in scientific and social pediatrics. The mechanical aspects of arranging an International Congress were so expertly handled that nothing interfered with the enjoyment of a truly professional program and the invaluable fraternization between pediatricians from many countries. Appreciation of the achievement of the various persons and committees who made the success of the IXth International Congress of Paediatrics so outstanding was abundantly expressed from all sides during the sessions and can only be echoed publicly here.All concerned with planning the Congress referred to Dr. J. Harry Ebbs of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto as the guiding force in development of the superior, well-balanced scientific program.
