PEDIATRIC CARE AND DELINQUENCY
[摘要] THE Committee on Juvenile Delinquency of the Academy realizes that medical responsibility for the care of children rests largely in the hands of the pediatrician and the general practitioner. Both groups render service to the ill child and advise parents concerning the rearing of their children. The distinction lies in the volume of services rendered, and the quality of service as determined by the ability of the individual physician. In any case, the physician who considers the evaluation of asocial attitudes to be a part of his responsibility has an excellent opportunity to appraise and interpret misbehavior. Also, physical problems are admittedly related to emotional disturbances in total "pediatric" evaluation.
