EXTRACTABLE LATEX ALLERGENS AND PROTEINS IN DISPOSABLE MEDICAL GLOVES AND OTHER RUBBER PRODUCTS
[摘要] The allergen content of disposable rubber gloves varies widely and is higher in powdered gloves than powder-free gloves. It is also higher in examination gloves than in surgical gloves. Hypoallergenic gloves may contain significant amounts of immunoglobulin E (IgE)-binding latex proteins. Gloves and toy balloons appear to be more important sources of rubber allergens than condoms, rebreathing anesthesia devices, baby pacifiers, and various special infant nipple products.
