IMPACT OF NICU CARE IN NEW ZEALAND

[摘要] Money: Much of the debate over neonatal ICUs is based on funds. It is easy to ask how the tawdry subject of money can be raised when babies' lives are at stake. But babies' lives are being saved in neonatal ICUs only because the decision has been made to spend money. And other babies—rural Aboriginal babies who need better housing and water, babies of migrants who do not have all their immunizations, babies of women who have Rh negative blood—are dying because not enough money is spent in areas that might help them.
