Intravenous Linoleic Acid Supplementation in Children with Cystic Fibrosis

[摘要] Ten children with cystic fibrosis were given infusions of either Intralipid or a similar number of calories from 10% glucose every other week for one year. The children who received Intralipid gained significantly more in height and weight than during their previous year and on cumulative data analysis showed greater improvement (23 of a possible 45 points) than did the control group (-2 points). Both groups appeared to benefit from the increased medical attention.
