Urinary Tract Infection Presenting With Jaundice

[摘要] Jaundice was the presenting feature in an 8-year-old girl suffering from urinary tract infection (UTI) due to Escherichia coli . The jaundice cleared with the cure of the infection. The mechanisms of jaundice complicating UTI are discussed, and the importance of urine culture in infants and children with jaundice is stressed.
