[摘要] As a result of the summer experience certain inferences may be drawn:1. There is great interest—latent until now—in our communities in the health, education, and welfare of our young children.2. Communities have shown remarkable resourcefulness and energy in developing comprehensive programs for young children.3. Communities have demonstrated a remarkable capacity to mobilize in a short period of time.4. Professionals of various disciplines have a deep commitment to applying what they know about the needs of children when offered the necessary support.5. Alternate administrative patterns make possible a variety of programs and local options which are highly desirable at this stage of our knowledge.
