PROTEOLYTIC ENZYMES OF THE PREMATURE INFANT

[摘要] The duodenal contents of 16 premature infants were examined and found to contain normal concentrations of trypsin. The gain in weight of infants whose diet was supplemented with casein hydrolysate was found to be no better than that of infants supplemented with whole casein. It is concluded that it is unnecessary to supplement the diet of the premature with split protein.
