HOMOLOGOUS SERUM HEPATITIS IN INFANTS AND CHILDREN

[摘要] Eight cases of homologous serum hepatitis are reported as having occurred in seven infants under one year of age and in a child of 2½ years.Five of these children died of acute hepatic degeneration.Suggestive evidence has been presented for the implication of icterogenic plasma in five cases.The clinical, laboratory and postmortem findings of serum hepatitis are described in detail.Preventive measures have been reviewed and summarized.
