APATHETIC THYROID STORM IN A 10-YEAR-OLD CHILD
[摘要] A case of apathetic hyperthyroidism with thyroid storm occurring in a 10-year-old girl is reported. Satisfactory response to treatment with propylthiouracil, cortisone and penicillin was obtained. Neglected hyperthyroidism in children, as in adults, may lead to the serious complications of apathetic hyperthyroidism and thyroid storm.
