[摘要] Thank you for your interest in this article and your thoughtful comments. I agree that more reporting needs to be done to turn anecdotal events into data. Potential underestimation of deaths caused by intrahospital transport is certainly concerning. In a recent article on intrahospital transport, Fanara et al1 noted that the contribution of adverse events in transport to increases in length of hospitalization, morbidity, and psychological sequella remain poorly documented. Complications may develop later, not immediately during transport, but still be related to transport, such as ventilator-associated pneumonia.2 Even unreported data on mishaps not progressing to adverse events are important to capture so we can learn and do better.
