Higher Derivative Corrections, Consistent Truncations and IIB Supergravity.
[摘要] Motivated by the anti de-Sitter/conformal Leld theory correspondence, or more generally gauge/string theory duality, we investigate various departures from the standard AdS5 x S5 construction. We begin with a discussion of the efects of the inclusion of higher derivative terms to the five-dimensional supergravity action. These can be interpreted as alpha-prime corrections descending from string theory or, alternatively, as Nf/Nc corrections to the large Nc limit of the holographic gauge theory. In particular we consider the effects of generic higher derivative interactions on anti de-Sitter black hole solutions, construct a supersymmetric higher derivative Lagrangian and finally compute themodication to the shear viscosity to entropy density ratio in the dual field theory and discuss its implications. We then consider consistent truncations of IIB supergravity on squashed Sasaki-Einstein manifolds. These reductions utilize the SU(2) structure group of the Sasaki-Einstein manifold to yield a consistent truncation which includes a variety of massive supergravity fields/multiplets. The multiplet structure and supersymmetry of these reductions is detailed, and a number of further truncations is presented. Finally, potential applications of these truncations for the AdS-condensed matter correspondence are discussed.
