Approaching problem gambling with a discursive sensibility

[摘要] Abstract In this paper, I outline some aspects of what I describe as a “discursive sensibility.” Drawing from discourse theory and research, I consider problem gambling in terms of this sensibility: an appreciation for and flexibility in working with differences in how language is used in describing and addressing gambling. I look specifically at how this discursive sensibility can be reflected in particular approaches to practice and research.
