A Simple Method for the Determination of Lipoprotein Lipase

[摘要] A rapid method for determining the in-vivo effect of small amounts of intravenous heparin utilizing thin-layer chromatography is presented. A dense band of stainable fatty acids appears and represents nonesterified acids after the fatty acid esters have been hydrolyzed by lipoprotein lipase and determines, therefore, whether the enzyme is activated by heparin.
