The Use of the Allen Correction in the Quantitative Determination of Urinary Porphobilinogen

[摘要] The method of Mauzerall and Granick for the quantitative determination of urinary δ-aminolevulinic acid and porphobilinogen was found, in our hands, to give falsely elevated values for porphobilinogen. The use of the Allen correction appears to resolve this problem.
