Rapid Method for Homogenizing Tissue Samples for Liquid Scintillation Counting

[摘要] Quick-freezing in liquid nitrogen allows a great variety of animal organs, including those rich in connective tissue, to be rapidly and completely pulverized, thus rendering them more readily soluble in the mixture used for scintillation counting. We have constructed a pulverizing assembly from items normally found in the research laboratory that conveniently facilitates this operation.
