Elimination of Dextran Interference in Serum Protein Determinations

[摘要] Ethylene glycol, 120 ml per liter of biuret reagent, eliminates the falsely high values for serum proteins caused by as much as 2 g of either "Dextran 40" or "Dextran 75" per deciliter of serum.
