Modified "Calcium Base Reagent" for Simultaneous Determination of Serum Calcium and Inorganic Phosphate with the "AutoAnalyzer"

[摘要] Replacement of the original "calcium base reagent" containing diethylamine with one containing triethanolamine and ammonia in the simultaneous calcium/phosphate method (Technicon method file N-26/a) gives a better calibration curve up to Ca concentrations of 150 mg/liter. In the original method the curve flattens above 100 mg/liter; thus in the proposed modification the reliability of the results are improved for samples from hypercalcemic cases.
