Semiautomated Method for Measurement of Guanidinosuccinic Acid in Serum

[摘要] A semiautomated method for analysis of guanidinosuccinic acid is described. To separate it from interfering guanidino compounds, it is absorbed on and eluted from an anion-exchange column. Colorimetry of the eluate was by Barrit’s [ J. Pathol. Bacteriol . 42, 441 (1936)] modification of the Voges-Proskauer reaction.
