Nicotinic Acid Assay in Blood and Urine

[摘要] Measurement of nicotinic acid activity of blood, serum, and urine by means of the ciliate Tetrahymena pyriformis is described. Blood and urine have high activity; serum has little. Narrow specificity and high sensitivity recommend the assay for clinical use.
