Urinary Excretion of Non-nitrogenous Organic Acids by Healthy Infants and Children

[摘要] We have quantitated 14 non-nitrogenous organic acids in the urine of infants and children. Excretion values are calculated as total milligrams per day, milligrams per kilogram body weight per day, and milligrams per milligram of urinary creatinine. The correlation with creatinine excretion is high; thus, meaningful data can be obtained from casual samples of urines.
