[摘要] The morbidity and mortality of pheochromocytomas are mainly due to hypersecretion of catecholamines, which results in various hypertensive crises. These tumors may be identified by symptomatology or incidentally on radiographs ordered for unrelated indications. Pheochromocytoma is further confirmed by biochemical abnormalities and is then cured by surgical resection.
